These disposable vapes are a great option for users who enjoy deliciously flavored vapor in a small package. The design of these vaporizers is based off of popular disposable pod systems like the Juul vaporizer. These vaporizers were renowned for their convenience, but sadly flavored vape pods are no longer available on store shelves.

The ban on the sale of flavored vape pods is a result of legislation aimed at preventing underage vaping. This was an effective way of preventing underage vapers from using these pods, though it also took away deliciously flavored pods from legal vapers. The legislation does not ban the sale of prefilled disposable vaporizers, which is why these sleek little vapes have exploded in popularity. They offer a virtually identical experience to pod vaporizers and the same satisfying nicotine salt vapor.

Nicotine salts are what makes these vapes so effective. Disposable e cigs have existed for some time, but they used the same freebase nicotine as traditional e-liquids. Because freebase nicotine is harsh at high concentrations, it was not possible to produce a satisfying amount of nicotine in the small clouds of vapor that these vapes create without ruining the user experience.

When Pax Labs started working on the Juul vaporizer, they wanted to find a way to make a small portable vape that produced small clouds of vapor but delivered more nicotine than previous portable models. They discovered that in its salt form, you could increase the concentration of nicotine without creating an extremely harsh vapor. This made it easy for vapers to get the amounts of nicotine they wanted from disposable pod vape with only a few small hits.

Nicotine salts are found naturally in the tobacco leaf and freebase nicotine can be converted to its salt form via exposure to certain acids. It should be noted that the most common compound used to create nicotine salts is benzoic acid, the compound responsible for giving cranberries their signature tartness. Adding a small amount of this solution to e-liquids effectively converts any freebase nicotine into its salt form, making it easy to inhale and enjoy. This is what makes these disposable vapes so effective, despite their small e-liquid capacity.

In addition to offering a vaping experience similar to pod vaporizers, disposables also offer far more flavor options than any pre-filled pod system. Pre-filled pods can now only be sold in natural flavor options like tobacco and menthol. One of the biggest advantages that these vapes have is their maintenance requirements. While pod vaporizers removed tasks like manual e-liquid refilling and coil replacement, they still had to be charged and the pods would have to be replaced. With disposable systems there are literally no maintenance requirements, making them the easiest vaporizers to use.

These vapes cannot be recharged and their internal e-liquid tanks can not be refilled. All vapers have to do is open the packaging, slip one of these vapes in their pocket, and take a hit whenever they feel like it. No need to check on the battery or carry extra e-liquid when you are using a disposable. Disposables also use the same draw activated circuitry as other pod systems so they are always ready to use.

These vapes are also great for shop owners. They are a great grab and go item to place by the register. The number of flavor options also makes it easy for customers to try new things without committing to buying a full pack of pods. All they have to do is grab a disposable, try it out, and they will be back again soon to grab that flavor again or try a new one.

The extreme ease of use is definitely a huge plus for most nic salt vapers, but these little vapes won’t be the perfect choice for everyone. Some vape users enjoy the process of maintenance and the savings that can come with using more traditional vaporizers. For nicotine salt vapers, there are a number of alternative refillable pod systems available. These vaporizers vary in design from simple devices that are roughly the same size as a disposable e cig to larger vapes that have powerful pod mods.

One of the biggest advantages the pod vapes have over disposables is capacity, both in terms of battery life and e-liquid storage. In all vaporizers, the battery is always going to be the largest component. This is because battery size is directly proportional to lifespan. Smaller refillable pod vaporizers like the SMOK Infinix have a battery capacity of 250 mAh, not much larger than the 200 mAh capacity of the Juul vaporizer. Other pod vaporizers, like the Freemax Autopod 50 system, have batteries with capacities as high as 2000 mAh. That is 10 times the lifespan of a Juul vaporizer in a vape that will still easily fit in the palm of your hand.

In addition to offering a longer lifespan, many refillable pod vaporizers also feature a large e-liquid storage capacity. A Juul brand pod only holds about 0.7 ml of e-liquid. Most disposable vapes have an e-liquid capacity of around 1 to 1.5 ml of eliquid, giving them a slightly larger capacity than a Juul pod. Pod vaporizers are designed with larger pods in order to make the refilling process easier. This also means that they can hold more e-liquid. Even smaller refillable systems like the SMOK Infinix we mentioned earlier have a 2 ml pod size. This gives them the capacity of almost 3 Juul pods per refill.

While disposable vaporizers have become more and more common, refillable pod vaporizers are somewhat more niche. If you have customers who enjoy these systems, it is always a good idea to keep most pods in stock. After a few uses, even the best pods will begin to experience coil burn. While this is not an issue in disposable vapes or pre-filled pods, refillable pods will eventually accumulate enough residue on the coils to burn and produce an “off” taste in the vapor.

Many pod systems will require total pod replacements, though some models with larger pod designs will also feature replaceable coils. These pods can last indefinitely and users who purchase several pods will be able to always have a backup ready to go. All they have to do is occasionally replace a coil if they begin to experience burn. Large systems that employ replaceable pods are fairly similar to traditional vaporizers, but they are designed to produce the smaller clouds of vapor. This is because they are still using nicotine salt e-liquids, so producing massive clouds would not be desirable. If you customers are looking for powerful clouds, traditional vaporizers will always be the best option available.
