Manufacturer Spotlight: iJoy Technology

iJoy’s Shogun kit has just arrived at our warehouse and we’re loving the look and feel of these new mods. Looking at the included Katana tank, we’ve got a ridiculous number of coils that fit inside without any issue, and that is where iJoy’s products have really shined over the past year or two. Since the release of the Diamond kit, iJoy’s coils have been designed to fit any tank in their class. Today, we’re going to take a look at the Shogun kit and look deeper at the kits built for coils that are compatible with the Shogun and Katana Kit.

iJoy Shogun 180W Kit

With both sides coated in unique resin panels; no two mods are the same due to iJoy’s casting methods. The star of the show for the Shogun is the UNIV chipset, which increases firing response time, wattage accuracy, and improved temperature control over previous offerings. The Katana sub-ohm tank, which sits on top of the Shogun kit, measures in at 5.5ml capacity and uses the iJoy KM Coils, but can also be used with the coils for older iJoy kits, namely the DM and X3 coil styles used in the following kits.

iJoy Saber 100W Kit

The Saber is a fantastic, compact 100W stick-style mod with a full suite of features that you’d expect from a full-sized mod. Most stick style devices sacrifice certain features to fit the small size, but the Saber still packs in Temperature Control functionality, a full variable wattage suite, and even a full screen with wattage readouts. The Saber is usable with two types of battery - 20700 and 18650 (with the included adapter) and you’ll be surprised at the life of a single 20700 in the Saber. On top of the saber is the iJoy Diamond sub-ohm tank, which makes use of the DM coil platform, which is available in a ton of styles and can be used in the iJoy Avenger tank and the iJoy Katana tank included with the Shogun.

iJoy Avenger Kit

The Avenger 200W is a unique kit with a few more bells and whistles than most of the kits on the market. In addition to a full suite of variable wattage, temperature control options, and different ways of customizing your hits, the Avenger also features RGB LED light strips which can be changed through a menu or through the Avenger’s voice control menus - that’s right, the Avenger allows you to speak your commands after simply uttering “Hello iJoy.” Wattage adjustment, light color, and light modes can be changed by issuing a command. The Avenger sub-ohm tank sits atop the kit and uses the iJoy X3 coil platform, but can also be used with DM or KM coils available for the kits listed above.
